Francesco Kinský dal Borgo

He is a member of the old Czech noble family Kinsky, who significantly influenced not only the history of the Chlumec nad Cidlinou, but also to the history of the whole Czech nation. The roots of the genus reach back to the 13th century, to the days of the reign of king Přemysl Otakar I. Generation members of the genus, by its own merit, competence in management and services for the Czech kingdom gradually enable the rise among the most significant noble families.

Before coming to the Czech Republic he has graduated from the agricultural study at the University of Pisa. Master´s degree acquired at Wageningen University in Netherland, where he focused study on environmental technology.

Since 2009 he worked for the European landowners organisation in Brussels, he cooperates with to this days.

He lives in Chlumec nad Cidlinou today, where he takes care of the ancestral property. He is a member of the board of directors of the family company Kinsky dal Borgo, which manages the castle Karlova koruna in Chlumec nad Cidlinou, mediaeval castle Kost in the area of Czech paradise, operates on more than 7 thousand hectares of own forests and sawmill, has a hunting area of almost 8 thousand hectares and the field with fallow deer and mouflons. The company also operates the hotel Obora Kinsky. Since 2016 family company farms on ancestral agricultural land with the help of Agricultural cooperative Všestary.
