The Faculty of Economics and Management at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague is announcing a new competition for students in master’s and doctoral programs. Its aim is to support high-quality student publications and applied research outputs and to create an opportunity for their presentation during a faculty workshop, which will take place on September 16, 2026, as part of the Agrarian Perspectives conference.
The Faculty of Economics and Management at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague is announcing a competition for the best publication or applied output by students in master’s and doctoral programs. The competition is open to students who have contributed to the creation of a high-quality professional, scientific, or application-oriented result. Individuals or teams of students may enter the competition.
Eligible entries include a scientific article (Jimp), a methodology (certified or accredited), software (e.g., created as part of a thesis), a specialized map (Nmap), an applied result, or another output with demonstrable scientific, professional, or practical value and the potential for inclusion in the RIV database.
The aim of the competition is to recognize student activity, support their involvement in scientific, research, and applied activities, and showcase the best student outputs.
The deadline for submitting applications is July 31, 2026. The results will be announced no later than September 10, 2026.
The winning outputs will be presented by their authors at a workshop to be held on September 16, 2026, as part of the Agrarian Perspectives conference.
The five best projects will be awarded. The financial prizes are as follows:
1st place – 80,000 CZK,
2nd place – 70,000 CZK,
3rd place – 60,000 CZK,
4th place – 50,000 CZK,
5th place – 40,000 CZK.
